For eight months since the grand opening Station #3 on the Moceri property on Silverbell near Kroger’s has been available for use for 5880 hours (245 days x 24 hours per day). For 5259 hours or 89% of the hours there has been no Fire Department Emergency Medical Technicians scheduled. For 287 hours 2 EMT’s were present and for 334 hours one was present.

It is difficult to see how this minimal staffing could have had much effect on improving reponse time to the southwest part of the township, the highest tax-paying sections, but with longest ambulance response times.
